ID Protection in Website Hosting
If you get a website hosting plan from our company, you’ll be able to enable ID Protection for any of your domains in case their extensions support this service. You can register or transfer a domain name and add ID Protection during the signup procedure or you can activate the service for any of your domains at any time afterwards through the Hepsia Control Panel. The process is astonishingly easy – after you sign in, you’ll need to visit the Registered Domains section where you will notice a list of all the domain names that you’ve registered through our company. For each one of them you’ll notice an “ID Protect” icon, which will tell you if the service is active or not. By clicking it, you can either ID-protect the domain name, or you can turn off the service if it is currently active.
ID Protection in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you wish to hide the contact details associated with your domain and you have a semi-dedicated server account with our company, you will be able to enable our ID Protection service either upon signup or at any moment afterwards via our Hepsia hosting Control Panel. This service is optional and can be added with a couple of clicks of the mouse from the Control Panel’s Registered Domains section where all the domains that you’ve registered through our company will be listed in alphabetical order. You can activate ID Protection for any of the top-level domain name extensions that support this service by simply clicking on the “ID Protect” logo on the right-hand side of each domain. In the same way, you can also renew the ID Protection service or turn it off – in case you’d like to transfer a domain name to a different registrar and you need the actual email account associated with the domain to be visible.
